YOGA - PILATES - MOVEMENT

Move with Intention - Leave feeling Better

Hi, I'm Sarah, a qualified Personal Trainer, 500-hour yoga teacher and Pilates instructor, and I've been teaching in Bedfordshire and online since 2017. 

 

My style of teaching is a blended form of movement practices that support both body and mind - helping you to move with strength, ease and confidence.   Most classes will incorporate: 

  • Yoga - for flexibility, strength and ease of movement

  • Pilates - for precision, control and deep core strength

  • Freestyle movement - for joint health, fluidity and fun

  • Breathwork - for concentration, mindfulness and relaxation

 

Everything I teach is built around one simple principle: ​'Soften, Stretch, Strengthen'.   Every class begins with softening - movement to warm the muscles and lubricate the joints.    We then balance stretch with strength to avoid either instability or rigidity - both of which increase risk of injury.   

 

In a world where we sit too much, scroll too often and spend hours hunched over screens ... movement becomes medicine.  It doesn't matter what you choose - just keep moving in some way, every day.

Current Classes

Conscious Movement (online class) - Mondays @ 8pm

Slow flow, deep stretches and breathwork - join us from home, minimal space required.  

Mindful Movement - Tuesdays @ 6.30pm

An all-abilities, community class for mobility, balance, flexibility and gentle strength.  

Strong Foundations - Tuesdays @ 7.45pm

Men-only - a class for back care, core strength and flexibility. 

Rhythm Flow - TBC

Music-led vinyasa flow - a fun and creative sequence to match a song of choice!

Functional Stretch - TBC

No nonsense stretching for gym-goers and anyone else who builds strength elsewhere.

1:1 sessions

Designed just for you - a truly personal practice, online or in person
